Chris Sims at the ISB has the greatest contest ever: what could be cooler than Batman wielding nunchuks made of sharks?
As you will see, lots of people had ideas in that direction, which is why Yankee ingenuity will always triumph. (Yes, that is Batman with nunchuks made of chainsaws, below.)
Proving once again it loves the hipster doofus demo*, Google hired Scott McCloud, author of Zot! and the much more scholarly and famous Understanding Comics, to create a comic introducing its new Web browser, Chrome. The comic got out a bit early, so anyone who wants a sneak preview of Chrome can read all about it in comic-book form.
*However, some hipster doofuses (doofai?) will be disappointed to learn Chrome doesn't have a Mac or Linux version ready yet. I include myself in this category.

(origin uncertain, found on Fark.com) As Chris points out in the comments, from Chris' Invicible Super Blog, the-isb.com, great stuff.
Venture Brothers Season Three trailer.
What else needs to be said?
I don’t know if anyone else has seen one of these yet, but I think this is the first billboard for Zack Snyder’s adaptation of WATCHMEN.
That would be Rorschach sitting at the bottom there, red tie flapping in the wind. The line is a paraphase of one in his journals.
As commenter Heather points out at my blog, that is not a billboard for the Watchmen movie, but a billboard for Frank Miller’s adaptation of The Spirit.
See, this is why I should never drink in the mornings. Especially not with all that cough syrup.
I will point out, however, that the line is still very much like one from Rorschach.
