This is pretty awesome. Michael Mann apparently did a TV pilot called "Takedown" that never got picked up, but liked the script so much he turned it into a movie: "Heat," which I love. Here's the same scene, played by two TV actors -- and Robert De Niro and Al Pacino. Poor TV guys.
That's right. "They can't teach you acting; it's there in your soul. It's the same with a bank job, and each thing we stole."

Also great: The bad guy doesn't appear to blink, even once. That's INTENSITY, Chris.

Jesus. You can almost see them trying to remember the stage direction:
"And I -- "
(LONG PAUSE. HOLD IT. HOLD IT. HOLD IT.)
"I am never going back."
"Whatever happened to a normal-type life?"
(PAUSE -- LOOK DOWN AT TABLE, FOLD ARMS, LEAN IN, LOOK PENSIVE.)
