Taco Bell's latest kids' meal campaign is taking a very interesting approach to education - some kid named Todd is learning some very important life lessons from his talking piƱata. My favorite book of the bunch pictured here - talking Tolerance. Tolerance of what? Getting repeatedly whacked with a stick?
Harvey Korman, so hilarious. He'll be missed. Bonus: Thursday evening Muppets (with Harvey!)
Breaking my self-imposed blogging ban once again, this time for a better cause than shameless self-promotion.
Rob Whalen (hubby of everyone's favorite ex-B!tchling and all-around gal Friday Gretta Parkinson) is at the House of Blues tonight with Shotgun Honeymoon. Print the flyer, bring it to the door, and you get half off the cover. They are filming this performance, so the more bodies the better. Doors open at 8:30 p.m.
(No, I won't be there. I have a newborn, and besides, as I was reminded yesterday, I am an old, old man. You kids have fun.)
More covers like these, and I may re-up my subscription.
Eric Torbenson (yeah, that guy!) writes about where the airlines are headed (hint, disco was hot).
The evolution of presidential groveling (I would have preferred the kegs of liquor).
And not a pimp, just a cool site: Look for pictures using Tag Galaxy.
So: you're Google. You access what's probably the world's largest photo archive. Yet how the heck do you tag it all so it's searchable? Wait...wait...YOU LET YOUR RABID USER BASE DO IT FOR YOU!
I give unto you: Google Image Labeler. It's a service! It's a game! It's the world's shortest crack high! Cannot. Stop. Playing.
Yeah, that's right. This song has been stuck in my head for a few days. That last chorus, about 3 minutes in? Fucking genius. The video I can do without: it's like they deliberately set out to capture every worst video cliche of the 80s. And, oh, Mister Mister...yes, you succeeded.
